You can be confident that
your job is handled with care: Monroe Litho follows the guidelines
of current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP),
a system that’s parallel to ISO-9001 and requires step-by-step
process verification to ensure that your order is properly manufactured.
Each and every job travels with a specific document that ensures our
quality standards are adhered to throughout the organization.
Quality staff adhering to quality standards
Our quality standards are managed by Stephen Whittaker, Vice President,
Quality Management & Sustainability Initiatives, who is a Certified
Manager of Quality/Organizational Excellence, Certified Quality Auditor,
and Senior Member of the American Society for Quality. Steve has also
served as an Adjunct Professor at the School of Print Media at Rochester
Institute of Technology for the past 19 years. Steve and others within
our company are trained in Six Sigma and lean manufacturing best practices,
and call upon these skills as needed.
We also have 12 Rochester Institute of Technology graduates on our staff,
including two with Masters degrees, one Bachelor of Fine Arts from the
School of Art and Design, and nine with a Bachelor of Science from the
School of Print Media.
Our comprehensive approach to quality has helped us to gain the confidence
of many major corporations, including these designations:
"Certified Supplier" status
with Eastman Kodak Company (one of only two printers worldwide to hold
this designation)
Official testing facility for Mead/Westvaco sheetfed papers
Prime printing supplier for Bausch & Lomb
Certified supplier designation for Carestream Health, Inc.
